Bangalore:
Located in the southeast of the South Indian state of Karnataka, Bangalore, is the Southern state capital. It lies in the middle of the Mysore Plateau, a region of the larger Precambrian Deccan Plateau. Bangalore District shares its borders with Kolar District in the northeast and Tumkur District in the northwest. Travel southwest to the Mandya District, or south to the Chamarajanagar District. The neighboring state of Tamil Nadu will be found to the southeast. The majority of the city of Bangalore lies in the Bangalore Urban district of Karnataka and the surrounding rural areas are a part of the Bangalore Rural district.

When you travel to Bangalore, you will find yourself transported to a unique and fascinating travel destination. A city rapidly becoming one of the most modern and up-market destinations on the Indian sub-continent. A guide to it's popularity with the young, trendy, high flying generation, is the vast array of pubs, clubs and night life to be found here. Climate and when to travel
Due to its high elevation, Bangalore enjoys a pleasant and balanced climate throughout the year. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 36–37 °C (100 °F) while winter temperatures rarely drop below 12 °C (54 °F). August, September and October are the wettest months due to rainfall from both the northeast and the southwest monsoons. Frequent thunderstorms moderate the summer heat with most of the rainfall occuring during late afternoon, evening or night.
